Rent The Brig Parking Lot
The Brig Parking Lot at 1525 Abbot Kinney Blvd. in Venice is the only large parking lot in the heart of Abbot Kinney, making it the go-to location for marketing events oriented towards the diverse foot traffic on the Boulevard. The lot is 6,700 square feet, leaving plenty of room to host small and large events, as well as park over 30 cars. The lot houses The Brig, a bar with a mid-century modern vibe that has been a cornerstone of the iconic Abbot Kinney Boulevard for over 60 years. One of the shining stars of the property is a Vintage Original Art Mural that can be filmed or photographed with permission.
Big names in industry such as Google, American Airlines, Tesla, Nissan, the Food Network, GQ Magazine, GAP, and more have all hosted their events in the space. The lot has also been proud to host First Friday on Abbot Kinney, pop‐up retail sales, promotional events such as GQ Magazine’s GQHQ at The Brig, or private parties catered by our neighbor The Brig. Any event you can dream up from craft fairs to film shoots for TV, we would be thrilled to help make a reality. We’ve even served as a filming location for Jon Favreau’s feature film Chef, starring Scarlett Johansson, Sofía Vergara, and Robert Downey Jr., to name a few. And fun fact: the film tells the story of Roy Choi’s Kogi BBQ food truck, which was started on The Brig Parking lot in 2008! Since then, the spot has been a hotbed for tons of amazing gourmet food trucks like Kogi, Dogtown Dogs, The Grilled Cheese Truck, and more.
